Dynamic Edge Solutions is at the forefront of the introduction in Scotland of Microsoft’s groundbreaking new cloud computing solution.

The Dynamic Edge team are already geared up to demonstrate the capabilities of Microsoft Office 365 ahead of its formal launch to the market early next year.

Dynamic Edge presently delivers state-of-the-art cloud computing services to clients using the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Standard (BPOS) suite – which will be succeeded by Office 365.

Managing Director Rob Hamilton said: “Office 365 essentially represents the next stage of cloud computing, combining cloud versions of Microsoft’s leading communications and collaboration products with the latest version of its desktop suite.

“Because of our successful strategic relationship with Microsoft we already have the Office 365 environment in place, so are in a position to illustrate the game-changing advantages it can offer to businesses of all sizes when it’s launched in 2011.

“Cloud computing is a burgeoning business concept because of its acknowledged benefits in saving time, money and resources, and Office 365 is set to change the business information landscape once again.”

Office 365 features cloud-based versions of Microsoft’s next-generation communications and collaboration services Office 2010, Exchange 2010 Online, SharePoint 2010 Online and Lync Online. It is offered on a subscription payment model and is scalable to reflect the requirements of individual businesses.

Dynamic Edge, with nearly 40 clients on board, provides traditional IT services alongside cutting-edge cloud computing solutions, which give users access to their software and data securely via the internet. Earlier this year it attained Microsoft Gold Partner status – the highest level of partner certification – with six competencies.
