Dynamic Edge support children’s hospital charity

Dynamic Edge is delighted to be part of a new fundraising board of business leaders, with the aim of supporting a charity’s bid to raise £100,000.

Managing Director of Dynamic Edge, Stuart Winterburn has joined the fundraising board for “The Fresh Air Project” – an Archie Foundation initiative to provide the Children’s Unit at Inverness’s Raigmore Hospital with a brand new outdoor play area.  The area will be available year-round and can provide young patients with a fun new space during their hospital stay.

Joining Stuart on the board are: Archie Highland Chairwoman Mary Nimmo, Brian Munro (managing director of Pat Munro), Mike Rae (managing director of Highland Copiers), Laura Mackintosh (group operations manager of Royal Golf Hotel) and Pauline Fraser (managing director of Frasermedia).

The group aims to raise the six-figure sum within one year, and will be organising events throughout the year in support of the worthy cause.

Children who have been receiving treatment in the recently opened unit are currently able to enjoy an outdoor play area, but the initiative’s board want to make it available year-round by erecting fun sail-style canopies which will protect patients from the elements.  There are also plans to create a 30 foot tall Nessie as the garden’s entrance centrepiece.
